Paragliding taster day
Practice makes perfect! The paragliding taster day takes place on a small slope in small groups. After a brief introduction by the flight instructor and once you have familiarized yourself with the paraglider, you will practice launching the paraglider for the first time. As you play with your paraglider and the wind, you will feel the force pulling you away from the ground.
You'll be surprised at how quickly you'll be able to make your first small jumps of a few meters. The better your progress, the higher up the slope you'll start, and by the end of the taster day, you'll be flying alone at a height of 5-10 meters above your friends' heads and landing safely on the flat ground.

The two-day double taster day (only in the Glarnerland/Linthebene region) even includes a first short high-altitude flight of approx. 500 m altitude difference at the end of the second day. The paragliding instructor looks after you the whole time via radio link and guides you safely to the landing site. Perhaps this is the start of a great flying career? Your instructor will be happy to provide you with information about the paragliding training course and the costs of the paragliding school.
Included in the paragliding taster course is the complete paragliding equipment plus the supervision of a licensed paragliding instructor. The costs will be credited towards any paragliding pilot training at the respective paragliding school. We will be happy to provide you with a non-binding offer for a paragliding taster course for larger groups.

The training slope is located in Schänis in the Linth Plain. Choose between the standard introductory day, which lasts about half a day, or the two-day introductory course, which includes a solo flight on the second day.
Schedule: 7 days a week, provided there are enough participants
In eastern Switzerland, the practice slope is located right next to Appenzell.
Schedule: Every Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and on holidays, provided there are enough participants
The practice slope is located right in Emmetten, with a view of Central Switzerland.
Schedule: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, provided there are enough participants
Experience your introductory day in the Brunnen region on Lake Lucerne. The Introductory Day Plus includes a tandem flight with your instructor after the introductory session.
Schedule: Fridays through Sundays, provided there are enough participants
The practice slope is located in the Rhine Valley near Grabs.

We did this taster day as a team event in the company and we really enjoyed it. Personally, I would have liked it if the individual steps had been explained again slowly, e.g. in smaller groups. At the beginning I found it a bit difficult to remember and implement everything at once.
Otherwise I thought it was a great experience and can only recommend it.

Coordination of line control could be better so that participants can fly more quickly.
